Ueno – Autumn Garden at the Tokyo National Museum

Basic Info.
Twice a year, the north-side garden of the Tokyo National Museum opens to public: in spring for the cherry blossoms, and in fall for fall foliage. The five historic teahouses offer a magnificent view of the pond, where the red leaves are reflected. This garden also offers a view of the Five Storied Pagoda which was dedicated to the Horyu-ji Temple by the 5th Shogun Tsunayoshi Tokugawa. The MOTOYA EXPRESS Cafe, which is only open during the period the garden is open to public, is a great place to have some tea while enjoying the beautiful view of the garden.
