Basic Info.

The Sanno Festival is one of the top three festivals of Tokyo (and of Japan). All shoguns of the history have held their prayers at this festival, thus its other name Tenka-matsuri. At the festival’s climax, a parade is held from Akasaka to Nihombashi. This climax is called Shinko-sai and is held every two years. (Next will be in 2018)
