At Tokyo City View on the observation floor of Roppongi Hills, the eternal “kawaii” that traces the history of Sanrio Co., Ltd., which celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2020, began here. We are holding a grand exposition of the 60th anniversary of Sanrio’s founding. We will explain in depth how the exhibition of 60 years of “kawaii” culture was born and developed, and the “Thoughts of Sanrio” behind it, along with valuable designs and products.
A lot of contents that can only be seen in this exhibition were exhibited, and it was worn by world-famous artist Lady Gaga due to the relationship between Sanrio and representative Japanese artists such as “Takashi Yanase”, “Ado Mizumori” and “Rune Naito”. This is an exhibition where you can fully experience the charm of Sanrio, including the reproduction exhibition of Hello Kitty dresses, which attracted much attention in Japan.
We will exhibit more than 800 products, which is the largest in Sanrio history, and valuable original drawings and materials.
