The Sunrise Aquarium in Ikebukuro has many events for New Year’s. The Oriental Zodiac aquarium displays animals with “dog” in their names due to 2018 being the year of the Dog. They also have a “stamp rally” (collecting stamps at different stations in the establishment) with stamps of animals disguised as the Seven Deities of Good Fortune. White pelicans and brownbanded bamboo sharks have joined the team this year. The shows performed by seals and otters are not to be missed.
