Fukagawa – A summer festival full of Edo athmosphere – Fukagawa Yahata Festival

Basic Info.
Fukagawa Yahata Matsuri is held at the Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine. It is one of the big three of festivals in Tokyo and is also called Mizu-kake Matsuri (watering festival), since more than 53 portable shrines are being purified with holy water.
