The Meiji Jingu Gardens give you peace in the middle of the busy city. The iris garden was designed by the Emperor Meiji for Empress Shoken and has 1500 irises of 150 different species, which blossom in June. The Meiji Jingu Gardens are also famous for the Kiyomasa-Ido well, a spiritual spot.
