Komagome – Beautiful garden with 100 species of roses and a Western-style house – Kyu-Furukawa Gardens

Basic Info.
Furukawa Garden was originally the property of a famous Meiji Period notable, Mutsu Munemitsu. The Western-style residence and garden were designed by the English architect Josiah Condor, who also designed the Rokumeikan and the historic Iwasaki residence. The Japanese Garden was created by Ogawa Jihei, a designer of Japanese Gardens from Kyoto. Every spring, the Rose Festival is held. Enjoy the beautiful collaboration of roses and the Western-style building.
