Marunouchi – Takehisa Yumeji: Master of Japanese Modern Illustration- TOKYO STATION GALLERY

Divided into four sections, this exhibition explores Yumeji’s career through more than 500 of his works, outlining the diversity of his talent. Works on display include “Yoran” (1903), a composition of handwritten paintings that he created at the age of 20, pictures books for children and cover illustrations for music sheets of the Taisho Era (1912-26).
