Basic Info.

Noryo no Yube, the lantern floating event of the Chiyoda Ward, has become a seasonal tradition. Around 700 lanterns float in the moat of the Imperial Palace, creating a mystical atmosphere. Applicants chosen by lottery float the lanterns from about 80 boats.
